Who we are:
The professional association for Manual Lymph Drainage practitioners in Ireland was established by Paddy Mooney in 1999 as MLD Ireland.
MLD Ireland has maintained a current Register of Qualified Therapists since 2000. This register is used as reference by Health Insurance Companies, the Irish Cancer Society, National Cancer Control Program (NCCP), HSE , Doctors and Consultants.
Our standards for membership are endorsing internationally recommended training standards for the treatment and management of Lymphoedema and Lymph related conditions (NALEA, ILF).

Our MISSION:
To Mainstream Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy in the Irish Health Service by educating, raising awareness, and developing a standard framework for professional practice while providing comprehensive support for our highly qualified practitioners.
