Who we are:

The professional association for Manual Lymph Drainage practitioners in Ireland was established in 1997. In order to insure high standards of practice members are required to update their theoretical and practical knowledge by attending a Review on a biennial basis. MLD Ireland currently recognises therapists fully qualified in the following international schools of MLD ; Vodder, Földi, Casley-Smith, Asdonk or LeDuc.

Our mission:

• Mainstream Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive therapy in the Irish health service by educating, raising awareness, and developing a standards framework for professional practice while providing comprehensive supports for practitioners.

• Improve the quality of life for all people with Lymphoedema and their families.
